Thursday the Generals beat the Davis Panthers....solid games were had by the OL and S. Rain, D. Ford and D. Steed. The Final Score was 33-6. The defense was solid as well giving up less than 70 yards.
Next big test is Saturday night vs the Ridge Point Panthers. The Panthers dropped their zero week game but are very talented and fast.
The GEnerals will have to play well to keep the momuntum going.

Post Practice Day 9
After reviewing practice on Wed. I believe we can be better. The mental part is solid. We need to continue working and not let "fatigue make cowards of us all." (Vince Lombardi) Player leadership needs to step to the forefront. Even with all of this being said.....we have a chance to break thru.
Football is not an easy game. There is a ton of routine. We need to not let routine dictate how practice goes. We must work and work and re-learn and strive to get better.
On to day 10. A little bit lighter but not by much. Shell and 19 periods to get ready for DeKaney. Freshman and JV at 9am Varsity at 10am on Friday @ DeKaney.
Hope to see you there!
Again, thank you for your support!

2012 Football Seaason.....a Start
New Football Season Brings Promise
As I sit here getting ready for day 9 of practice. I can not help but see promise for the year. We have a hugh benchmark test on Friday as we take on the defending 5A State Champions. I know this test will give our men a strong indication of what we do well and what we will need to to work on!
As always we continue to work hard to represent the school and the community.
